Eating DisordersThis Piece is meant to display the struggles of eating disorders. I have struggled with anorexia in the past and know first hand how much it affects your everyday life. The spoon both symbolizes eating and shows a distorted reflection of yourself, like what your brain sees when you look in the mirror. The food in the background is on a big white plate that makes even the littlest bit of food seem like a lot. The hands are there to show that even though moving past something like an eating disorder can be hard, you can handle it!
