This commission was to make a flower wall backdrop for a party. In two weeks time with a little help from a friend, I managed to spin out over 100 flowers made out of thousands of sheets of metallic tissue paper creating a 7 foot tall and 4 1/2 foot wide display. the flowers are mounted on 9 separate foam-core boards that hook together and are easy to break down, store, and re-use. Perfect for any occasion!
Wicked Tote
Here are some shots (most progress shots) from a tote bag I painted for a big fan of the Broadway musical Wicked. I used acrylic as well as latex paints, oil-based paint markers, and a matte clear spray paint to seal everything together. I also used some clear gorilla glue to adhere the glitter on the "Defy Gravity" side for the star in the top left corner as well as the witches trail. This was a fun one!
